Type your callsign. We run the DXtra propagation planner for your location with today's solar flux, sunspot number and Kp: a coverage map, a 24-hour planner for every DXCC entity and a propagation wheel for any country you pick. Live spots, beacons and the band brief refresh every ten minutes.
Beta. The planner is scored against 550,000 measured WSPR circuits: most land within 25 points of what was actually heard. Near the equinox 15, 12 and 10 m can read a little optimistic. We tune it every week — tell us what it gets wrong.

Gain against elevation: free-space gain × elevation pattern × the ground reflection at each antenna's height (perfect ground, horizontal antennas); a stack sums its antennas in phase. Verticals over average ground lose the lowest angles. Each path uses the take-off angle the prediction gives it, against the reference dipole at 30 ft. These are standard approximations, not a NEC model of your array. Stacks are fed in phase.
The DXtra hub's brief, written every ten minutes.

Ask about band conditions from your location. Glimmer is a local language model on our hercules server; it answers only from the numbers on this page (predicted openings, nearby spots and beacons, space weather), so it may say it cannot tell. Answers take a minute or two. Questions and answers are kept to improve the service.
Pick a country in the planner or on the map to see its propagation wheel and 24-hour table.
Cell colour = chance the band is open for your station (white 0%, red 100%). ++ = S9 or more and at least 70% · + = S6 or more and at least 50% · • = S1 or more and at least 30%. Signal = your signal at the far end.
Tell us what matches your experience and what doesn't. A specific band, hour and country helps most.
